I am making a book display for my class and I need some ideas.

My theme is expression so I got books that have to do with music and expression. Some of the books I have also deal with art and music. So my poster board says “expression” in an arc in the middle and they are rainbow (I painted the rainbow so that the colors fade into one another across the entire word.). Then each letter is a different font. I need some other ideas though to make it eye catching. I will also be displaying all 15 of my texts…one is a movie that I will be playing and then I have a CD that will be played as my personal response. I will have books all on the table. Any ideas of what else I can do with my poster board?

You could paste photos, artwork, crafts, quotes and the like around the board framing “expression” and fill in the space with some type of line design.

put a whole bunch of pictures of the same person’s face making different expressions over the covers of your books- one face per cover- so that ppl have to read the texts to find out what they express. and then glue different kinds of sunglasses over the eyes of each photo. the glasses will give it a cool 3D effect. : )
