What is the file type of the movie? Is it .avi format or is it just DVD format?

It means exactly what it says. You need to visit the website, of the player you are using. Then download and install the codecs, needed to play the file in question.

This is there website link. http://www.bsplayer.org/ I dont use that player myself, so cant give much advice.
You will find they have a forum, perhaps that will help to solve your problem.
