I read it really depends on your body type as to what you should do. If you’re skinny you will need to do something different than if you are heavy, etc. I do know you need calories, and protein to make muscle, so your diet will be a large roll. Also, you want to do heavy weight and less slower reps to build. Do lighter weights and fast reps to tone and burn weight. It gets confusing with all the different advise sites for building muscle. Do lots of Googling to find what you think will best fit you and stay at it. You won’t get results unless you still to the same regiment. They say the worst thing to do is hop from one way to another.
