Where were you?
You can also watch events on Help.com as they happen
How old are you? Do you even HAVE a credit card?
yes, my dad bought it and told me to charge it or w/e so i did but what do i do? ok my dad has a credit card and he bought it 4 me duhhhh
What is the item number so I can look it up, please.
280278490458 btw sorry for bieng rude with the credit card thing thanks sooooo much for you help! :)
It does not look like PayPal was an option made available by the seller. When you clicked on pay by credit card, did it take you away from eBay to another secure web site? Did you enter your dad’s name, address and credit card number?
Please understand, when paying by credit card the payment does NOT go to eBay.
i already hasd my dad adress and credit card…itts his ebay…cause he told my berother to make one for him whenmy brother wanted to buy one…so i did used his which already had the credit card info it told me my info ws sent to the seller..it was still on the ebay sight and it said ut was gonna send me an email witht the same information they sent the seller.. and then it said i have to send my payment via credit card…what does that mean?
If you did not leave the eBay web site, all you did was request the sellers contact information. When you do this by eBay policy, the seller also receives YOUR (in this case your dads) contact information. You still have to send payment by credit card which you are not authorized to do. You are too young.
Here’s what I would suggest. Contact the seller and be very straight about what is happening. Tell him/her that you plan on sending them a money order via snail mail as soon as you are able. You can get a money order at your local post office or most grocery chain stores have them too. In the future, let your DAD’s fingers do the clicking through eBay. We have enough kids “playing” on it as it is.
im not a kid and im not “playing” on ebay. He was standing with me..im better with website so I clicked buy and stuff. He was with me…i am so sick of people thinking im “PLAYING” on ebay…im not stupid and i know what money is.I know how to work a website better than my dad…..okay..so he gave me permission..he ws standing with me the whole time… thank you for your help…
So, if you are not a kid, tell me your age please.
im 14 and im not plaing on ebay…its a completly diffrent situation…when my dads with me telling me to buy it..now he said contact ebay for help so thats what i did… i am not kid and i am very responsible
eBay will tell you the same thing I told you. Contact the seller.
eBay is just the device for two parties to buy and sell stuff. They do not intervene between the two parties except in rare circumstances when a dispute arises and no solution can be worked out.
If you sincerely intend to pay for the poster you bought, contact the seller. NOT eBay.
I found out username jerryscht became a member of eBay on March 13, 2003. If this is your username, that would make you 8 years old when you signed up. That will get you removed from eBay for lying about your age at the time.
If it is your dad’s username, he could be suspended for allowing a minor to use it in an effort to defraud.
If you are really as smart as you say you are or your father is as dumb as you make him out to be, do your homework and find out how eBay actually works. The time to ask questions is before a transaction takes place. Not after a listing has ended and you have no clue as what to do.
Am I coming through to you?
i searched it and i cli9cked buy then my dad did the rest…gosh no one understandswhat im saying… and my brother is not a minor he is 23..so my dad cant be susspended for letting meclick one button….
and yes im not a complete idiot..im 2 years ahead or my peers in my and english
I didn’t say you were an idiot at all. Unfortunately we see more and more young people such as yourself click “Buy It Now” and then go, ‘oh fudge-puppies… what do I do now??’
eBay offers all sorts of tutorials on their web site. It takes a lot of time but it would do you a world of good to learn about eBay before the next “poster” becomes the next needed item for your bedroom.
Oh, by the way. I am a long time member of eBay myself and a graduate of eBay University.
One more thing. This is not eBay help. This is Help.com. They don’t have anything to do with this site whatsoever.
ok help.com is for help..hello? its called HELP! i am asking 4 help!
