question help: That birth certificate of Osa … err, Obama! - Help.com

That birth certificate of Osa …

err, Obama!!

http://www.gather.com/viewArticle.jsp...

Politifact.com, a fact check web site, says, “Unlike other documents, Hawaii birth certificates aren’t public record. Only family members can request copies, so when the campaign declined to give us one, we were stalled.” After the Obama campaign released a copy of the birth certificate, however, Politifact says they went a step further: “We e-mailed it to the Hawaii Department of Health, which maintains such records, to ask if it was real. ‘It’s a valid Hawaii state birth certificate,’ spokesman Janice Okubo told us.” Still, questions persisted.

Politifact says, “When the official documents were questioned, we went looking for more answers.” “If this document is forged,” Politifact says, “a U.S. senator and his presidential campaign have perpetrated a vast, long-term fraud. They have done it with conspiring officials at the Hawaii Department of Health, the Cook County (ILL.) Bureau of Vital Statistics, the Illinois Secretary of State’s office, the Attorney Registration & Disciplinary Commission of the Supreme Court of Illinois and many other government agencies.”

Media Matters for America

Conservative media figures allege Obama’s Hawaii trip is about discredited birth-certificate rumors, not his ailing grandmother –

Summary: Michael Savage, Rush Limbaugh, and Jerome Corsi suggested or asserted that the true purpose of Sen. Barack Obama’s current trip to Hawaii is not to visit his ailing grandmother, as Obama claims, but rather to address rumors — widely debunked — that Obama has failed to produce a valid U.S. birth certificate. However, in addition to FactCheck.org and a Hawaiian Health Department official, even Corsi’s employer, the right-wing website WorldNetDaily, has reportedly determined that the birth certificate provided by the Obama campaign is authentic.

Although, now that you mention it, McCain could be an excellent actor for the part of Scrooge… McCain is just upset b/c Obama’s gran is probably not much older than he is.

I am John McCain. And I will vote for Obama!

People like you make me ashamed to be from the south.

Obama is clearly the intelligent choice. Heres a guy that keeps his cool and is thinking about what this country needs, not how dishing up dirt on or finding excuses to trample on his opponent with petty garbage (that is the least of our worries!)

Go Florie!!!

my cousin was born there in the same year as obama and its the same certificate. just out of curiousity, if he WAS born in kenya to his mom when she was visiting there (as ive heard some rumors say), would he still be eligible? i have a little cousin who was born in germany four years ago, because my aunt and uncle (both born in the US) were vacationing there for a few weeks and she was born prematurely. would she be able to be president, hypothetically?

You know I wish there was no war on terror…
By that I mean I wish we werent fighting terrorism with actions that may be considered by those unfortunate to be stuck in the middle of the conflict to view these actions as terrorism itself.
I wish there was a way using tolerism and kindness. But I guess its too late for that as already too much haterd has been generated.
I do feel, that the US forces should be there but mainly to reinforce trust in the world and promote friendship between countries as well as defend the civilians, not to carpet bomb areas and hunt down terrorists without consideration for innocent civilians.

I was going to drop in and offer to make a cup of tea…

But am worried about sparking a mutiny in Boston.

:o)

Here’s an interesting thought…a hypothetical one of course

How many americans would vote Jesus for President if that were possible? I’m not being religiously disrespectful (honestly).. just making the point that I don’t think the issue of birthplace would be such an issue would it?

Apart from among the aethiests maybe…

dear R.A.M., thank you so much for writing these words, which are beautiful. I really believe that even after all the hatred our government has caused, if we would mend our ways, and start doing what you say, the world would take us back! War IS Terrorism. We should all be seeking PEACE. Thank you, R.A.M.

Who knows, maybe after all of this is over, Barack will start something like Dennis Kucinich’s idea for a Department of Peace. We have the Department of Defense (and I would say also the Department of Offense). Dennis Kucinich, the invisible candidate, has been talking about Peace all this time. Peace and Truth. Maybe Barack knows, and just hasn’t announced yet that Dennis will be in his cabinet. [ Florie dreams … ]

Some people believe he’s a terrorist because of his name, wow, we are really getting back to medieval days..
they’ll shout it out at Mccain rallies when him and that **** Pailen are trying to pump up the crowd. But really how desperate can you get when you keep bringing up that Bill Ayers nonsense, republicans..

I don’t know about that, I usually hang up on telemarketers. That would mean I may have hung up on a future leader of the country. I’m not sure if I want to take responsibility for that…

all i’m saying is that in all of this, have we forgotten that america funded what is now the taliban and they still give sanctuary to most of the bin laden family in the usa… what exactly is the war on terror? a war on people who have muslim middle names or who dont want the world to turn into one global dictatorship? so much fuss is made about patriotism in the united states yet i have yet to meet one patriotic american, if you are patriotic, surely you are for the upholding of all laws and values of the united states? but most people are standing by and watching it all be torn to shreds.. as a muslim i know that muslims sure as hell didn’t start terrorism, the roots of the taliban go back to america who created them, then used them as an excuse to wage war on the rest of the world, namely the middle east who they didn’t have an excuse to attack before 9/11, the weapons of mass destruction faded into the background after the ruinatiion of the iraqi people and now the usa has caused mass starvation and mass poverty as well as mass homelessness, when will BIG W be held to account for that? and then to show that they disregard muslims completely, they executed saddam on a holy festival.. whther obama wins or mcshame, all i pray is that there is a god and that justice will be done and all the people who lie and are happy that they are getting away with it will be held to account one day or that one day the people will wake up and realise that the government is NOT rulers of us, they were made to govern us according to OUR will, and they are riding roughshod over anything and everything and letting the fatcats line their pockets.. uhh rant over, probably it wont make any difference but they say at least if you raise your voice against something, its as if you had an army at your command, even if its only in your heart, please speak out about wrongdoing and lies before we all fall victim to it and then it will be too late for any of us

In order to become POTUSOA one must be a natural born citizen and 35 years of age. Obama has proven neither. Perhaps that is why he is visiting Hawaii(to visit an ailing relative). So he can put some pressure on those in charge and conjure up a legit looking birth certificate….

So I guess Superman would never get in then… even if he were the right man for the job ?

Maybe someone needs to look at writing another amendment to include Krypton?

Or perhaps the spirit of the Constitution and less the letter of one of its early laws should be the way to go…

As for your remark regarding the Hawai visit Dr. Ralph.. do you apply the same rigidity in your understanding of the law when it comes to defamatory implication, slander and libel?

Just curious, who would Superman’s running mate be?
