After about 10 minutes when I sign on, my computer stops and has the message: configuring upsates.

shutting down. What I can do to stop this from happening. I’ve been in the middle of sending emails and when it cuts off, I can’t get my message back to finish.

well, how often does this happen?

Is there a box that comes up saying something like….restart now or restart later?
there usually is. Just select restart later and it won’t shut down.
