In Loving Memory Of Charles Bush

I just thought I should post something about his death because I feel so bad for his family. Charles was 17 and a senior at my school he was in the band and played Tenor. He was the head of the drum line and always made the pep-rally’s way better by his amazing drumming skills. He died on October 18th 2008 at 8:30 in the morning on his way to College Station to see his girlfriend at a football game…..It was a one car accident, the night before this tragic accident happened was the annual Paris Vs. North Lamar game (the rival game) and some believe that it was partly caused of alcohol and he was at this party late and only got 4 hours of sleep so he might of fell asleep at the wheel. The funeral was yesterday and it was horribly sad, especially when his friends spoke about loving memories of their friendship together. He was buried with drumsticks in his hands. I was friends with Charles and it was very upsetting and I hope to make it through this is the first time I’ve ever encountered such of a thing. It just wont be the same anymore and everytime I play the drums I will think of Charles.

I am so sorry to hear about you’re loss, and i think that it is great the someone had thought to put drum sticks in his hands when he was barried. I do not know this gentleman but i send my best to your self and all of the classmates or any of the lives that he may have touched and the family.

RIP Charles!

my condolences. best wishes to all the family and friends.
just give yourself some time to grief then get on with you life, i know it’s not easy and most probably would never be, but there will be more… and i believe the people we’ve lost would’ve wanted us to move on with our lives at some point.

It is so sad to think that someone so young had their life taken in an accident. It was really sweet of his friends to say nice thinks about him. That’s how everyone should be remembered. By the good things they did and not the bad. I also think it was a good idea how he was burried with the drumming sticks. Now they will always be with him. Please remember that someone only lives as long as the last person remembers them :-).
