Where were you?
You can also watch events on Help.com as they happen
check in your burning software to see if you’re finalizing the disc.
there are certain settings which allow it to be played on other computers, or on your computer only.
Maybe setting it back to default?
what program do you use to burn?
ok, do you have XP or Vista?
also, have you ever been able to burn CDs which play in the car on that computer?
do you know if you have any other burning software? like NTI CD Maker
well i have itunes, i think i used it before, but i dont know for sure, but other than that no
hmm, ok
lemme see what’s out there. The Windows one is a pain cos eventually you need to supply licences etc.
your computer is a laptop, right?
here’s the program I use…Media Monkey. http://www.mediamonkey.com/trialpay
click on the left hand download button, that’s the free one
works every time for me
ok, I’ll be on for a bit. did you plan on downloading it now? I can walk you through it
you’ll find it’s similar to iTunes but a LOT smaller and doesn’t take control of your computer.
I use it to play all my music too.
well i think ill be able to go through it on my own, but if i need help i will defienetly ask you later , thanks alot
ok, i used the program u told me,, and still the cd wont play in my car…. whats up with this?
when you go through the burn wizard, and get to the “burn settings” page
do you have the following settings:
action: burn
burn speed: 48 times
write method: track-at-once
finalization: finalize
?
browsing through Windows Media Player settings too.
in Options, under the “rip music” tab, what do you have for the Rip settings, format?
the choices are:
Windows Media Audio
Windows Media Audio Pro
Windows Media Audio (variable bit rate)
Windows Media Audio Lossless
mp3
wav (Lossless)
the first post I did about the burn wizard is in Media Monkey
