well I live in the UK and here it’s not really that big of a deal, hardly anyone where I live does anything for it and we get no trick or treaters so I would say it is just another day like any other.
You can’t choose what day your born on, and it is not like they would say people born on dec 25th are jesus re-encarnated so I would think that people saying that are just trying to push your buttons and annoy you, tell them to grow up.

well as I said, to me it is just another day, nothing bad or good about it unless it’s your birthday then it would be good :D
There is a coincidence, my birthday, that date as well. If I have to pick one of your choices, it has to be the fun and games one.
A few famous devils spawns, Prince Charles, Jimmy Saville,(some sort of DJ and tv celeb) Saint Paul (from the bible). Oh and of course you and me.
The fact that you were born in October just means that your parents had a fun Valentines Day is all. No demon spawn. Unless your parents have horns and what not, then maybe your demon spawn.
Well my dads birth sign is taurus, that has horns. Does that count?
Just a day, probbaly of some significance if we go back in time but now one of many commercial holidays. Cheers.

Lol, I don’t think so :)
Now come on there, my eldest brother is an aries, that goat thing. It must all mean something.
Sorry but I’m an Aquarius, and Aquarius people don’t believe in astrology ;)
OK i will make cheeses with it.
hahah!
well i love halloween.
i get to go around and get lots and lots of candy.
you’re lucky.
you get lots of candy AND presents on halloween!
Halloween is mostly just a day for fun and games. Because it is a cross-quater day in the solar callender it is found as a day of celebration in many cultures (although the acctual day varies slightly depending how far north or south you are from the equator.) It was the Celtic new year, known as Samhain (pronounced ‘Sow-EEn’) in the pre-Christian religion and is celebrated by modern neopagans as the new year. The general theory is that Pagan festivals were gradualy replaced by Christian festivals falling on the same date as Christianity was amalgamated into lacal cultures in the post-Constantine era. The Christian name for the festival is generaly nowadays known as ‘All Hallows Eve’ which is often shortened to ‘Halloween’ although it is sometimes called ‘All Souls Night/Eve/Evening’ or ‘All Saints Night/Eve/Evening’. This naturaly preceded all Souls/Saints Day.
As far as I am aware thee is no historical precidence for it being ‘Satans Day’. This seems to be a modern idea based partly on ignorance of the historical and modern religious significance of the day to various faith groups, partly on Hollywood exageration and make-believe, partly on the commercial ‘devil’ costumes/merchandice etc. generaly propagated on halloween & partly on the fears of some of the far-right members of the Christian church.
Apart from those few of us to whom the day has religious significance though, the day is generaly ignored or simply an excuse for a big party.
Halloween is the only worthwhile holiday. It’s not good or evil, it’s FUN! Why can’t we just have a day for fun without it being a symbol for worshiping a devil most people don’t even believe in?
Fun and games:) I like to bark at the moon. It’s a holiday that allows me to be myself. It is the one day that I don’t wear my mask:). HeheHahaHoho Boooooooo!
What’s wrong with showing a little appreciation to Satan?

Holiday, not celebration. Different thing.
