well, it has 2 gb of ram and when i open the task manager it says its using 1 gigabyte at the moment.

ah, 2gb isnt really enough. depends on your processor too, and how many programs you’ve got running at the time.

i run vista, with a pentium dual core @ 1.73ghz

i had 0 programs at all, my pc is cache-ing more than 60 percent of the two gigs, and its only allowing me to use 32 mb for ram

maybe when yous et it up you accidentally partitioned too much of your harddrive? Perhaps you should take it to the place you bought it from.. that is, if you didn’t actually upload Windows onto it yourself.
