i have tried suicide a lot times earlier… recently also i was hospitalized for the same.. im just trying to live…but soemtimes i get really depressed .. today also i just gave some resons and im out all alone.. i dunno.. i have no intentions to exist.. i dont want to die.. but not really understanding how to sty alive also…

mm, i understand how you feel. I’ve been through that phase before.. what made you depressed? well, life is tough sometimes. how old are you anon? think of the things that made you happy and maybe you can live for that? what are your passions? for me i love to cook, i live for that. i love to travel, i live for that.
im quite old.. not a child .. im an adult.. is this place only for children..? ami in the wrong place…?

i dont think suicide is the best answer to solve your depression..
there isnt any single reason.. its just a lot of things that has continuously troubled me.. or i have got troubled with…
when i tried it the first time.. this is what i thought later.. but again and agian my mind goes back to it…. im not able to withstand the stress or anything im facing…
mmm, maybe it’s the time of your life that just doesn’t go smoothly.. what do you do to relieve your stress? you should go travel and keep your mind off things.

just an opinion of mine.. that help.com people shud know.. if a person nearly having suicidal tendencies visits here or the chat section.. im sure the person is going to feel more bad and unattended.. than doing any good…

Dun have to be about anything in particular, but when I’m feelin lonely, I always come here n chat to these guys, coz they’re all pretty fantastic people.
I used to get really fkn depressed. To the point where I just couldn’t even get motivated to go out of the house. Thats how bad it got. I couldn’t function, it was an effort to get out of bed in the mornings. I didn’t wanna talk to anyone in my family and certainly didn’t want anything to do with friends. I still have bad days, but I deal with it better now, with the help of meds.

The meds keep me balanced now. I could easily slip back into depression if I’m not careful. I must take meds at the same time every day.
For me, I have learnt different techniques to get me back on my feet. Once i’m in a dpression, it can take me up to 2 hours to get myself back feeling better again, and thats 2 hours of concious effort, and I literally have to force myself to do these things because motivation is non existant in a depression as you would be well aware of.
I usually start off by meditating, I know it doesn’t sound like a very cool thing to do, but with practise, peaceful and medium emotions can be achieved. You don’t have to take any special classes to meditate, you are best doing it while you are home alone, no noise at all, everything should be quiet with no other activity going on around and just sit in one spot for how ever long you feel like. Closing your eyes, and keep all thoughts of day to day activities out of your mind. You mustn’t allow these thoughts to creep in. You basically imagine a place you want to be, a peaceful place, somewhere you feel happy. This can be a beach, a warm pond of water. Actually laying in the bath is always a great place to meditate.
I would seriously go to the docs and ask for some anti depressants. They have come a long way with medical research and they are very good now. It would help you get on your feet and start functioning normally again.
Depression is chemical imbalance in the brain, and sometimes the only way to correct it is by treating with medication. You don’t have to take prescibed medication, if you prefer, there are herbal mixes available in the supermarket that are excellent for anxiety and depression, like **** Johns Wart.
