Buy a piece of land and pay payment on it, invest in a good stock and the financial sound companies are your best bet for example, Exxon, Walmart, and any company owned by Warren Buffet.

A quien hablas, Cotton?
Also, lots of people are investing in silver now, gold is a good investment also…
Just invest in something…if your company has a 410K, invest in it…
Quien hablas?
ok. thanks cotton. how abt plain time deposit of cash?
I meant who were you talking to with the post about the stocks?
I’ve forgotten more Spanish than I thought =/
Oh, just telling young people to invest…and gave them some good stocks to invest in..
Stocks? Isn’t Wall Street on his [her?] deathbed?

wat about just putting ur cash in bank? much safer i guess
Oh no JR, this is the time to invest…stocks are very low…buy when they are low and sell when they are high and reinvest in something safe..
The key, put it in the right bank..Bank of America is VERY sound!

Bank of America steals money from people. I have 4 friends who’ve had more money than necessary taken from their account by the bank, only to have it put back later after confronted with the “mistake”. I don’t trust them.
Okay…fair enough! Overall, they are financial sound!

I hear that. Shocked when WaMu went under. But I guess that’s the price when you operate honestly huh?
I don’t trust the stock market either. Mainly because I know nothing about it.
Understood…there are good investments and bad ones. WaMu shocked me also…and you need to study the market before investing…but, if you are a young person, find something to invest in for retirement…land is a great investment…buy a little at a time..pay it off and buy a little more….when you get my age, you will be ready for retirement…

would this still apply even if the stock exchangers as a whole is down?!
Oh yes Okie…when the prices of good stocks are low, for example Coca Cola, is 8 bucks a share now…two years from now, it will be between 25 and 30 bucks a share..you triple your money. It is a good company…
stock market is about up and downs..this will take a year to get the market back up again, but it will happen. History proves that..

While you own the stock and the market is crappy like this, you don’t lose anything right?
If you are patient and invest in the proper stock, you will makes money…the stock market has gone thru the correction before. Check the history of the market and it will verify my statement JR!

LMAO, I believe you Cotton, I’m just hesitant. I just told my cousin that I’m gonna buy some stock and he said, “Have fun losing all your money.”
Well RJ, you will get the last laugh on this one…it is the time to buy! But, buy stock in good companies, and my theory, if Warren Buffet is buying, that should tell us something…and that is why I listed the companies he is investing his money in…

Who’s Warren Buffet? Sorry for asking you all of these questions… I actually want to know.
And I’m taking what you said into consideration… Need a job first though XD!
