I can’t sleep.

This has happened for the last two nights in a row.
I got to bed at my usual time (or roundabouts), wake up at 1:30 (or thereabouts) and can’t seem to get back to sleep. It’s 2:30 in the morning right now where I am.

Can anyone help?
Please?

There’s warm milk, soothing music, boring tv shows, hot baths or you could talk about your deepest hopes and fears and get your stress out. Sit straight close your eyes and count your relaxed deep breaths up to ten and then do that again. Zen meditation.

gauranteed you wont want to
youll want to stay snuggled up in duvet

warm milk
banana
and, when lying on your back in bed, concentrate on relaxing all your muscles, starting at your toes…working you way to your head.

Stop trying to go asleep, try doing something else and you’ll find yourself not wanting to finish because you’re too tired. Then go to bed.

Something that works for me is hot milk. I know its sad and babyish, but it makes you drowsy as hell. If all else fails, then give it a try :)

A little, yes.
I am finding that I am sleeping through most nights, but actually getting to sleep is becoming increasingly harder…I feel tired one minute, then when I get into bed I am suddenly wide awake again.
My doctor seems to think that my insomnia is caused by stress and the medication I’m taking so I’ve altered that a bit and it seems to work.

I too have that ‘lay in bed and then feel awake’ stuff, it sucks sometimes. In my case what usually ‘disturbs’ my rest is stress, maybe I pressure myself sometimes overthinking the way my life is and how its going. Its mostly a bunch of thoughts of not so good situations from a past event or something that could be presently going on, it depends (i guess). I just try to deal with them in a more acceptable way…and eventually go to dreamy land.

Anywho…I asked bc i was curious to know if you figured out a nice recipe to fall asleep…

=D

Thanks for your reply…I hope you are OK, take care and keep smiling.
