Money help: Last night my car broke down, my family(fiance and 11month old son) just moved into a new place that we rent. - Help.com

Last night my car broke down, my family(fiance and 11month old son) just moved into a new place that we rent.

I cant get a loan anywhere due to bad credit choices in the past. my family cant help due to my father just getting over a serious heart condition. Any one know where someone like me can get a vehicle that is atleast safe to take my child and for me to get to work?

You should go to local charitable places. Town-halls, Town-meeting places, places of worship, good-wills and ect. Car donation is quite common as people get tax credits for donating their older cars. You might be able to get one for free or for an amount you can afford.

If you have a good job , you can ask for a loan at your credit union or Prosper. People may help you. More information at http://www.acreditlibrary.com/prosper… and http://luccu.org

You can also try your luck at online charities like Digital Charity, people may send donations if your story is convincing enough. From http://www.laodn.org/
