TANNING

basically, I have somewhat naturally tan skin, I am half mexican/white. Although, I want to get that just got back from the beach, bronzed look. I want to look tropical & sun kissed. I ocasionally go to tanning salons to achieve this, but I’m just wondering if there are any tricks to make the few trips tanning worth it. Are there any methods I should follow when tanning to get the best results, or what?

ummm. don’t shower an hour before or an hour after,

and invest in a good quality tanning lotion. make it a part of your tanning regimen, it really does help!!

Don’t even do it you could easily contract skin cancer its very dangerous I’ve had several biopsies and thankfully negative. Skin cancer is the highest fatality of all cancers and its not worth your life to get that just right look.

I loved to tan when I was a teen and young adult and then I paid the price later don’t get a tan in the sun and really don’t do it on a tanning bed I call them cancer beds!

I know this probably sounds stupid, but when I used to go tanning (haven’t been recently because I’ve been sick) I only went a lot until I reached the right shade I wanted..
Aftet that I’d only go about 2 times a week, but would also use Jergens Natural Glow Express self-tanner. I’d mix it with a little bit of regular lotion, especially around my hands, feet, knees and elbows. The regular lotion also helped with the smell a bit, but it’s so worth it. It made a huge difference and I loved the color of my skin. It never looked fake or streaky. Just make sure you exfoliate before you apply.

Here’s the self-tanner:

Here’s how my skin looked using self tanner and occasional tanning beds:

(and without a tan I’m EXTREMELY pale, so this was like gorgeous color for me.)

exfoliate before you go tanning, any kind of tanning. sunbedding make sure you dont go for too long to start with, ease yourself into it.
lotions can be a bit of a mare to get even, or you could go for a spray tan.
