friends help: Nothing brings happiness. - Help.com

Nothing brings happiness.

My mind has been so cluttered and I even broke down today. I realized that I don’t have many friends that are there for me. I am not good at building friendships. But I am willing to learn how. I need to change. I need to have more friends in my life. Can you give some suggestions as to how to meet people and such. Places to go? I live in solitude and dont want to be a “loner” any more. please help.

First of all lets take a step back, You said “my mind is cluttered”, you are not your mind, and You didn’t realize anything , your mind did. Don’t let all the negative thinking control your life, and most important don’t let your mind run “you”. Next time you start thinking about things like that watch what you think accept it, do not judge but listen to it…then you will realize you have more then that and everything will come together. Just live your life don’t worry about time you’ll meet people be yourself, don’t think just do it. You’ll move on, but you can find happiness in being alone. I can, I have a beautiful gf and good friends but If im a lone for a month i can be happy, you need to look in yourself.
