Good conversation starters?

Does anyone know some really good conversation starters? i’ve tried the “how was your day” and “catch last night’s game” but they can only last for so log. :) any ideas will be accepted

well i’m supposed to meet my girlfriends parents and i don’t want to seem completely boring. Just trying to find some ideas i can talk to them about incase i can’t think of any on the spot.

start with hallo sir or w/e then tell them about yourself like say your name how old you are and everything …then from there the convo will just fly along..
