I am a volunteer at a non profit organization who tutors

in uderserved public schools, I over see 8 members between the ages of 17-24, I am 20 and although younger than some I am more focused and respectful than most. I am stressed, want to give up on this year intership… and forget about it all. But we are tutoring more than 100 kids in a very needy school.

Why do you want to stop? Any reason in particular?

They simply do not respect each other, or, take initiative. I think I expect too much of them, the truth is they are not at the level of maturity or intellect to fully commit to this service. It is what I have to work with, though. I need to find a way to create a positive enviroment, but, I am tired.
