This question is for car buffs, I have a 2005 Chevy suburban and I have a flat tire.

I am trying to release the spare underneath the car by lowering the cord that holds it in place. But the cord lowers and the tire stays there because it is locked by a secondary lock that I don’t lnow how to undo, any suggestions?

Did you read the owners manual. if you don’t have one did you look for one on line.

Also you could all a suburban dealer/repair shop, they shouldn’t have a problem telling you.
