Did Jesus really fulfill the prophecy of the messiah?
After doing extensive studying, within Isaiah 7:14 it said that Jesus would be born from a “al’mah” (young woman), not necessarily a virgin.
Other references include:
The Sanhedrin will be re-established (Isaiah 1:26)
Once he is King, leaders of other nations will look to him for guidance. (Isaiah 2:4)
The whole world will worship the One God of Israel (Isaiah 2:17)
He will be descended from King David (Isaiah 11:1) via Solomon (1 Chronicles 22:8-10, 2 Chronicles 7:18)
The Moshiach will be a man of this world, an observant Jew with “fear of God” (Isaiah 11:2)
Evil and tyranny will not be able to stand before his leadership (Isaiah 11:4)
Knowledge of God will fill the world (Isaiah 11:9)
He will include and attract people from all cultures and nations (Isaiah 11:10)
All Israelites will be returned to their homeland (Isaiah 11:12)
Death will be swallowed up forever (Isaiah 25:8)
There will be no more hunger or illness, and death will cease (Isaiah 25:8)
All of the dead will rise again (Isaiah 26:19)
The Jewish people will experience eternal joy and gladness (Isaiah 51:11)
He will be a messenger of peace (Isaiah 52:7)
Nations will end up recognizing the wrongs they did to Israel (Isaiah 52:13-53:5)
The peoples of the world will turn to the Jews for spiritual guidance (Zechariah 8:23)
The ruined cities of Israel will be restored (Ezekiel 16:55)
Weapons of war will be destroyed (Ezekiel 39:9)
The Temple will be rebuilt resuming many of the suspended mitzvot (Ezekiel 40)
He will then perfect the entire world to serve God together (Zephaniah 3:9)
Jews will know the Torah without study (Jeremiah 31:33)[3]
He will give you all the worthy desires of your heart (Psalms 37:4)
He will take the barren land and make it abundant and fruitful (Isaiah 51:3, Amos 9:13-15, Ezekiel 36:29-30, Isaiah 11:6-9)

Where were you?
You can also watch events on Help.com as they happen
I see all these verses as the Kingdom of Heaven. Not as the world that is now, the Kingdom of Heaven is near, it is drawing near, but this world is still full of humans, many unsaved humans, all of us broken and estranged from God. what if we aspire to making the earth and our lives as similiar to those verses, but then wait and hope for the second coming of Christ?
what a lot of Bull
You are doing what the early Jews did. See, Christ will have a second coming; this is a big event so there is prophesy about it two. It would be surprising if there wasn’t.
Some are for the first some for the second.
A lot of what you point out is future yet. No where does it say all this would happen at once. Remember, a thousand years with God is as one day. Just hang in there and it will be worth it! “He that endures to the end shall be saved.”
if u r intrested, i will go over each of these with you personaly. i dont have all the answers, man, i didnt even read half the questions,,,but for the most part, they are VERY easy to answer.
my question is this.
are u realy intrested?
I am interested to go over these with anyone that can logically answer them.
To respond to the prior comments … I do not understand how any of these that I laid out can be taken to be in the, “future.” All of these verses are old testament, the Torah’s prophecies of the coming of the messiah. These were the prophecies that Jesus Christ said he fulfilled, in his first coming.
How can we conviently split these prophecies into two categories, even against Jesus’ own reference to these in the New Testament, as yet to happen?
The old testament prophecy claims that a young woman will give birth to the messiah. It never said that it would be a virgin birth at any point. Further, this virgin birth seems to mimic the story of Horus from the Egyptian Book of the Dead quite convienently. I don’t see how Jesus fulfilled the original prophecy.
well, then lets begin, first where did u get this ” translation ” that the isaiah 7: 14 did not say vergin,,,i will be a wee bit slow in my finishing what out of the list i can,,,i have a few shelfs of books i might have to jugle for the apropriate answers
kingjames isa 7:14 says virgin, let me go get some research books,,jersulem bible says maiden, and my research bible, a copy of the original, says a virgin,,so i can see, here, with out digging through the rest of my bible versions, what the problem is that u r reading a bad translation #2, and # 1 your faith was never grounded properly to begin with, but, maby we might b able to work on that
http://net.bible.org/verse.php?book=i…
Before we begin, do you have any scholastic or structured study of this subject?
5) The expression “virgin” in verse 23 is rendered in the Septuaginta with parthenos, “virgin,” to translate the Hebrew word in Is. 7:14 for “young
girl” (almah). This gives the text of Isaiah a new dimension of reality, a new fulfillment, because Matthew uses it to affirm the virgin birth. His emphasis, however, seems to be more on the declaration of a savior who shall be called Emmanuel, “God is with us,” than on the word parthenos. The birth initiates
the Messianic age of salvation to which the whole Old Testament looks forward. The age begins with the birth of a child. Jesus realizes the presence of God
among his people in an entirely new way.
question #2, can u tell me how many times this has already happened?, also, can u tell me how it will yet be established in the millenium? I do not see the word sanhedrin in the original manuscripts, lets see the other translations, nither in the king james version. And last, wow, it is REALY diffrent in the jeruselum bible, but still no specific mention of the sanhedrin, i will, now go look into the worst translation of the bible i have here, the new age translation
If you continue to explore you will stumble upon the eytomology of the translation and how it became, “virgin,” around the 2nd century when it was translated into Koni Greek. Within the Greek culture, holy, young, women were like oracles, and were virgins within their culture. So, what was originally a young, woman became a virgin…
and so what.
a young woman bore Jesus.
and it just happened to be a virgin.
looks like fulfillment of scripture to me.
and it looks like u r just digging your self into an intelectual grave.
You are fluent in the Hebrew language and have access to the ORIGINAL manuscripts that are locked away in the Vatican?
I find this … suspicious.
#3, once He is king,,if u know anything at all, the jews REFUSED Him as King, and now, it will be in the melinium he will b king,,,,surly if u know as much as u are seeming to know u can quote me that scripture
Matthew Chapter 7 and verses 15-20: “Watch out for false prophets. They come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ferocious wolves. By their fruit you will recognise them. Do people pick grapes from thornbushes, or figs from thistles? Likewise every good tree bears good fruit, but a bad tree bears bad fruit. Every tree that does not bear good fruit is cut down and thrown into the fire. Thus by their fruit you will recognise them.”
This is the reason that it is a problem if the prophecy was not fulfilled, or it was altered or lied about.
fluent in hebrew ? no, it’s called a dictionary, and if u wana b like that i hope u know not to look up your info in the high yidish of the upNups of that day , since Jesus “spoke and the common people heared him gladly”,, and for the vadican manuscripts,,look into the front page of this book i have here ANYONE can get from ebay, it’s called a diaglott, and it is a PERFECT print of the vatican manuscripts.,,,mmm,,,i think u r not hear to learn. i think u r here to bash.
wich dialect. u r the one talking about the translations as if u knew. tell me about the diffrent pronounciations, and alternate spellings. maby u can refere me to the base of these diffrent dialects of the same language,
i am sure u know what was spoke by the priests in the sanhedrin was very diffrent from nazerith
Well, for such an educated person, your spelling and syntax are atrocious. You are coming off as extremely hostile and passive/aggresive towards me and it isn’t welcomed at all.
my point is this. stop thinking so much. stop looking into trying to figure out the Word. Jesus himself said it is given to CONFUSE the wise and prudent.
but it is also given to understand by those who will learn.
keep the way u r going and u will b like those in the sanhedrin. they missed the Most Holy ONE, in the most Holy place, and the most holy people crusified Him

Your comment, “i want to make sure i get into Heaven,” shows that you have not very closely read your Bible at all.
“For by grace you have been saved through faith; and that not of yourselves, it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so that no one may boast.” Ephesians 2:8-9
Also, John 3:16-19 would be a good verse for you to read.
I wish you the best of luck. I hope you find love and kindness somewhere in this world, as well.
Well… you seem to be filled with the real understanding of the Bible and your picture , well it has skulls and bones and just has a spooky look to it.
