im having a tough life atm.

my mate has a bf now and were hangin around with all his mates now which is a laugh but i found out that they have caused trouble once in their life (basically they dont normally cause trouble) and my mum knows one of them who shes not keen on. i have to lie to her everytime i go out and im going to get caught soon. i cnt tell her the truth who im going out with through the day because she will cause a massive argument. what can i do?

I’d suggest that honesty is the best policy. Why is she not keen on them? Perhaps she is looking out for your best interests and is worried about you? I know it stinks sometimes that parents can be seemingly so rotten but we love our kids, makes us protective. ;)

It’s so hard to lie because you have to keep it up. Then it’s lie after lie after lie. Would she be willing to sit down and talk to you about it? You aren’t earning trust by being dishonest and you know she will eventually find out. Chin up kiddo, things will get better. :)
