The Notebook
As you read, please let me warn you someone is watching. Someone is waiting for the right time to strike. And as you glance over you’re shoulder, I must say reader beware. The true facts and story that unravel in this gruesome notebook are the key to when I come back. And so was my time, it is now yours.
Carl Mabry was bored. He was running the night shift at his uncle’s ancient 3- star motel. The place was empty, and the only people checked in were a young man and woman whose car was down. Mabry glanced out the filthy window. He saw lightning flash from a distance. No thunder. No rain. But a dreadful storm was approaching. The worn-out cuckoo clock on the wall rung 9:39pm. Mabry ran his finger over the dark countertop. The undusted surface left a visible print on his finger and on itself. He ran his finger again. But as he did, he felt a small wooden tab that he hadn’t notice before. Pulling, a small thud! was heard from underneath the countertop. Mabry, Flabbergasted, peeked at the secret drawer that had flung open an reached in.
