can you solve this?

A party was thrown for a group of scholar athletes. From the information given determine how many athletes were at the party. Show all work used to solve this problem on your paper.

a. Ten were on the volleyball team, 9 were on the track team, and 10 were on the tennis team.

b. Three of the track team members were on the volleyball team.

c. Four of the volleyball team members were on the tennis team.

d. Three of the tennis team members were on the track team.

e. No one was on more than two teams.

I used a Venn Diagram, like this but without words http://www.learnnc.org/media/glossary…

I labelled each circle a group and put in the numbers where people crossed over, so where the Volley Ball and Tennis group overlapped, I put in 4 crosses. I did this for each coupling.

With the overlaps done, it was simply counting how many the group was lacking, and putting them in their category then counting all of them up.
