I’m gay but I’m not out to everyone and to night I’m going to a gay club and one of my friends invited me when i was already planning to go.

He doesn’t know that I am gay, and I’m afraid that IF something happens, what should I do. Let it happen or blow the guy off?

I probably wont be much help here but I’ll try anyway, I would guess it depends how you are around this friend. Could you come out to them? In a way, nothing has to happen there if you don’t want it to so it all depends on what you are comfortable with at this point in time and with the people around you..

He did ask you to the club; maybe he has an idea that you’re gay already and wants you to come out to him. How do you think he’d react? Is it a big surprise to people you tell or are they like, oh, that makes sense. Just don’t assume the worst; he may be okay with it all.

Be yourself, what else can I say, I tried to please so many people in the past and although I did I just lied to myself.
