My sister was like that. A great person but she would go from really happy to really angry in like 2 seconds. Sometimes it’s brain chemistry and medication will help. Other times it’s about taking control of your moods and deciding that you will be pleasent even when you don’t feel like it.

Maybe, you should see a therapist. There is medication that can even out your moods. Personally, had a horrible childhood and I take medication and it has done wonders. Check it out……..

I have tried medications and none work. I better tell you now I have minor brain damage. And well I am sick of people using that for an excuse for such bad mood swings I use to use it alot too. But deep down inside I don’t think it is the brain damage at all. But I can’t stop them. And I would love to keep friends. And I have seen therapists and all they do is say that it is all in my control, but the funny thing is that I have no idea how to stop them and they have been to buisy tring to prove something about me that they totally miss that is why I am there to see them.

I’ve known some people who are bipolar and they suffer much of the same issues. Meds are an option but im always rather fearful of them. I’m normally in a bad mood (no mood swings here) but my friends cope with it assuming i appologise after screw-ups and they understand whats going on. It may just be that in what you percieve as isolation that you do have friends which can help you. I spent a few years feeling isolated but then realised “hey - these guys are awesome” and although I dont have many friends, the few I have rock.

Hope i’ve helped.

If you see a therapist to asess whether it is a chemical imbalance or not, depending on the severity there are alternative “natural” remedies that you can find in the drugstore or by going to see a naturopath. Just don’t diagnose yourself dear! Get a professional opinion first k? Depending on your age it could have a lot to do with hormones…dang things..but even that can be changed by exercising and eating right. Could be just a rut..try going for a nice brisk walk when you are perturbed. I jump on the treadmill!

You might want to ask yourself what all this “moodiness” is getting you? There’s always a positive and negative to what we see as problems in our lives. I also strongly suggest that you see a psychiatrist and get on some meds that will help you. God knows, I don’t know where I’d be without mine!

Depending on your age you have to overcome rage. Be yourself but also show signs of conviction and emotion.
