Where were you?
You can also watch events on Help.com as they happen
Obama, of course!
Better economic plans, health care plans, and generally a smarter guy.
same as vilén :)
Obama— abortion policy, war policy, and his healthcare plan is better than mccains! 3
NEITHER they are poleticians, which is a nice way of saying professional liars. i just finished reading “The whoppers of 2008″ parts one and two on factcheck.org about their campagn smears and lies and they are both full of it. I am so sick of the attacks; they have BOTH lied about multiple issues. I don’t even want to vote I am so sick of the election and the circus it has become. Sorry to rant and go off topic here but the way poleticians will say anything to anybody to get a vote makes me sick.
Your two sided politics DISGUSTS ME.
I’m voting for anonymous.
Not really, Libertarian here.
As for Obama / McCain, biggest reason against them:
Stop living in a two sided world.
Both only want to improve the government by either making it better or eliminating parts of it.
Obama:
He can talk, but who says he can get anything done as president? President doesn’t CONTROL congress, which is who really matters.
VP- probably better than him.
McCain: Will keep us in a stupid and fake war, he’s more capitalistic and sadly sometimes I wonder if he has the mentality to be able to run the white house.
-his VP also probably better than him.
You honestly think Palin is better than McCain?
I live in AK and used to respect palin a lot as a poletician for the people (she has done a lot of good up here) but now she is just McCain’s puppet. I’m really disappointed in her for becoming another underhanded politician.
I said probably,
Please look at what she’s done for Alaska.
Hmm. I strongly disagree with many of her policies.
Palin, that is.
I do like that Obama said people’s families are private matters and that privacy should be respected when all anyone could talk about was Palin’s daughter being pregnant. I don’t get why it was so big of a deal anyway; I’m not saying it’s a good thing but it seems to me that more and more women are having children closer to 17 than 27.
Go watch Zeitgeist 1 & 2 and come back to me and tell me if you really think your vote counts anyways.
In Ak our votes don’t really count. Aside from the fact that this state always goes republican we only have one electoral vote. McCain should have picked a running mate from a bigger state; he was already winning in AK.
Palin wants to go against the separation of church and state.

Oh I know how bogus is that? What kind of wacko (sorry wackos, no offense) can seriosly think of creationism as science that should be taught as real and true? I’m not trying to open a can of worms here but give me a break.
Hahaha she’s crazy.
I swear, if McCain (Hell forbid) becomes president, and (doctors forbid) he dies… president Palin!?
I’ve heard it said that a vote for McCain is really a vote for palin because he is going to die and a vote for Obama is really a vote for Biden because someone will shoot Obama. Sad… not necessarily untrue.
Truth is, you need to vote for the lesser evil. Yes both have lied, both have flaws in their campaign. but of both who is the lesser evil? Id say Obama from the research that i have gathered. Obama was brought up on welfare, Mcaain owns like 6 houses. Obama was #1 of his Harvard class. Mccain was at the bottom of his academy all the way at the bottom. Sarah Palin went to 6 different colleges before she graduated with a journalism degree. Just some FYI
I didn’t know obama was #1 at harvard that is impressive… and mcCain being at the bottom? Funny :)
John McCain
* United States Naval Academy - Class rank 894 of 899
Sarah Palin
* Hawaii Pacific University - 1 semester
* North Idaho College - 2 semesters - general study
* University of Idaho - 2 semesters - journalism
* Matanuska-Susitna College - 1 semester
* University of Idaho - 3 semesters - B.A. Journalism
There you are… =)
Obama all the way. we NEED change
don’t kill me lol i’m not at all into politics
just my opinion
Wow, 5th from dead last at the naval academny? Yikes, no wander he was a POW… OH I KNOW THAT WAS AWFUL I’m sorry I couldn’t help it I know I’m going to get loads of bad karma for that i don’t want to minimize what it means to have been a POW for your country… I have an evil sense of humor. That was good natured, no one be mad at me…

Voted - Barack Obama!
Hoping to look forward to some brighter days.
haha veghead, i know its really mean but i also cracked up at your comment. i feel terrible now ;S
Barack Obama.
He’s run a respectable campaign. He’s an intelligent, articulate man. He has shown more judgment and foresight than anyone in a long time. He knows where his interests lie, and most of all: He’s cool, calm and collected.
That’s what we need in a president. Plus he’s so **** sexy! Oh come on, what woman doesn’t want a piece O’ bama?
hahaha i just don’t know about that big mole…
Um… I think it’s obvious who I’m voting for. Why? Well honestly his values and priorities are more along the lines of my own than the McPalin ticket. :)
^that’s a freaky/cook avatar :)
*cool lol
Yeah, I’ve heard about McCain’s less-than-perfect academic performance.
You thought Bush was dumb - he didn’t do well in YALE.
But Mcain - bottom 0.5% in a NAVAL ACADEMY! Ouch!
Obama! And MIA, I’m a straight guy, and I have to agree, he’s good-looking for his age.
And as for politicians lying, everybody is someone else’s slave (I know you are… so am I!).

Something somebody sent me:
________
Maybe this is another yard stick to use in finding out another angle in measuring the ground level of enthusiasm for Obama. We’re talking about all campuses in this survey endorsing Obama except for one! This list includes all the red states as well as part of this survey.

not necessarily anywhere!

I am not “a Christian”
I have sometimes had moments of questioning, but then I think of the possibilities of “god”’s existence, and I laugh myself to sleep.
All I am saying is there seems to be “something,” at rare times, without a doubt. In my experience.
I can’t write about it right now. Bed is beckoning. Haven’t you felt something though?
I wouldn’t mind talking about this on another day. Too sleepy now.
hey vilen, thx for editing. U make it way cooler now :)
Btw, im for obama!
the funny thing is, i think mr. obama already knows he has this one in the bag. he exudes confidence and has a professional leader presence.
It’s not in the bag until [most of] the votes are counted, and there may be some things going to the Supreme Court to decide … :(
But maybe not! Maybe he’ll win by such a landslide that no shenanigans will have any effect. I hope so.

Remember Nov. 2000?
it seems that sarah palin is currently hurting mccain’s supporters. evidently, she lacks the personal qualities a president should have. perhaps this could be the deciding factor of victory for obama.
