Dear Women.

This is my second post this year trying to inspire you to be you. As i go further into my studies (VFX and Motion Graphics) ive started to study the psychology behind the media and its effects on women. The media is a powerful tool that treats human lives like puppets, I know because iam taught to do so. So as a male I want to speak out and let you beautiful creatures know some truth. You dont need to look at magazines to show you what women look like. I am guilty of using photo shop into morphing a girl into a more “perfect” version. Guess what? Every model you see in ads and tv are altered in some digital way. PHOTO SHOPPED! This is why most women have the wrong perception of themselves, because what you see is an illusion created by a touch-up artists. A touch up artist can turn Jabba the hutt into Cindy Crawford. Remember a scale measures weight or Kilograms, it doesn’t measure beauty. Please stop the outrageous dieting, and anorexia. I for one would never date a skeleton :] . To be a model in the US and France you must be a size zero. In Spain, your not allowed on the runway below a size 3. No “real” man truly cares about your looks anyways, after 3 months or so its your charm, smile, and intelligence that keeps us with you and vice versa. Beauty is eternal, something that is born inside each of us, please dont let the media distort your view ever again.::sigh:: Ive been holding that in all day..lol =)

P.S. I wont reply to any comments until tomorrow cause its late here in FL. So i will reply in the morning.

I guess it depends on where are you watching TV..

The point is, TV creates a wrong idea of what girls should be. They should be themselves and not that actress, model, whatever.

Remember kids also watch tv and too many of them will grow up thinking girls should be like that person on tv, skinny and everything, when they should only be themselves and feel good.

that’s right, whenever i watch the media and see beautiful girls with gorgeous shapes i really feel horrible, i try to compare my self to them then i start going on a diet so i can lose weight. thank you soldier 4 you for bringing this up, to be happy and accept your self it’s not easy, but try to see the good part of u, look at your self in the mirror and be thankful to GOD. Blieve me no one is perfect, but each one of us has some kind of beauty, so be happyyyyyyyyy.

The media does make people seem so perfect that it’s impossible to keep up but the idea of admiring beautiful women is not unnatural. I know that I shouldn’t hate myself because I don’t look like the Eva Longoria’s of the world, but I also am realistic and know that being attractive is very important. I’ve had men tell me before honestly that they know it’s not politically correct but the first thing they look for in a women is beauty. And it makes sense! You don’t want to be with someone you’re not attracted to. That’s a cardinal rule these days.

My point is, that’s it’s ok to take care of your appearance, even more extremely like dieting and surgery. Take comfort when people tell you your beautiful just the way you are, but also never let them convince you that you’re stuck at being just that beautiful forever.

Good call. Not to mention a lot of the girls in fashion magazines are under 16 years old and airbrushed to look like they have breasts and hips!
