Love help: Gratitude - Help.com

Gratitude

I was at work today and I started feeling sort of weird. Every time I breath, my abdomen by my ribs, are aching!!! Got me so worried. What if I got some cancer or form of illness?

Anyways, I’d love to thank all of you, for your words. They really did make a difference because I’d think otherwise and I’d remember your words and It made sense, hence the help. My pain and sorrows—you people shared yours as well—which made me feel not alone but encouraged to survive for I wanted you fellows to survive as well.

How do I say this? I thought about what’s really important in this life more than the struggle for money or gold or fame, but what really get us through the troubles which is important, is wisdom.

Wisdom is that old man that talks and preaches by the fireside as we children sit and listen. Wisdom is she that sleep next to you in peace. Wisdom is love that loves your enemies. Wisdom.

Just like Solomon, who became very rich as God-given, saw his richness as vanity and proclaimed wisdom the greatest of his possessions. (Correct me if I’m wrong, it might not be Solomon).

What it does me? Examining my heart, there *was* envy, for politicians with their control and power and the rich with their luxury. It pierced my heart with sorrow for I desired them. Life becomes so bleak and empty. Is this our motivation? Money and raiment of palaces?

This life seems so sad, dark, dry, and dirty! When you begin to understand life—the why(s)—you begin to *sigh* and breathe. More importantly, your scales of darkness in your eyes cease. You begin to smile. You begin to feel good. You begin to want to do good.

In Help.com, we can’t really physically go to you and make you feel good. We hardly can provide you with things. It’s mostly words. Words of wisdom and understanding.

Live. Life is short. Life is worth it.

In gratitude, I give thanks!

Awe yes, wisdom. she is the reason I would not choose to go back and repeat my younger years, she brings peace which was missing then. You know what I just learned from reading your post? That when I’m trying to help those who ask what is there to live for I can say one of those things is wisdom. It is indeed something to live for.I just recently learned we first get knowledge in our younger years, then comes understanding then wisdom.I believe it too. Thanks Warren, you write beautifully and very well :) Bless you
