Okay - I’m really scared and just feel sick because of something I saw.
I on a chat site and clicked on a link that I thought was meant to go to a twilight pic. Instead it went to a gross pornagraphic picture of a man’s *****. I am 13 and have parents who are pretty protective of me and who trust me. What can I do to stop myself freaking out?

are you scared cus you think your parents are gonna get mad at you?
lol at you
You can either tell them it was an accident or erase the history of your computer, if that’s what you’re worried about. We need a little more detail, I’m afraid.
yes more detail?
u shouldnt click on those links. theyre all trouble sometimes.
talk with your parents. If you don’t want to see that sort of thing on your computer, and I don’t blame you… talk to them. First let them know you saw it by mistake… you might even show them how you got to the picture. They may be able to put some controls on your computer so that sort of thing does not happen. It’s very easy to think that all parents will attack when something bad happens… but parents CAN be understanding too. You might give them the benefit of the doubt.

Take a deep breath, and let it out slowly. Remind yourself that it was completely accidental and not your fault at all. Take another breath. :) Then do what Richard suggested, and talk to your parents about it. You said they trust you, so if you tell them that you were on a chat site and clicked a link that you thought was something else, but it turned out to be something pornographic and you’re worried about it, they’ll believe you. You’ll be fine :)
Yes i would tell my Parents about this exactly how you did .They will not get mad at you and for you young lady its more Lessons learned .certain Sites on your computer is total Filth And that will happen more than once you find yourself in that situation..Tell your Parents …

a very good advice. here, anything even remotely connected to porno are all blocked… but sometimes other good sites are also blocked too…
anyway, yes, i reckon talking to your parent about it is a very good idea if you’re that freaked out about it. cheers!.
you did not go there on purpose,,,not ur fault,,tell your folxs if you can or erase history and be very carefull on the net..
sadly there are those who do NOT have your best interest at heart,,never give out personal info..blah blah balh,,im sure youve heard it before,,
but its true,,so nah,!!! dont worry,,its not like your looking for that stuff,,
its everywhere,,,so at some point youll have to get used to those accidents
happened to me looking up NASA???
i got sorta freaked out thinking my friends kids would see that garbage, went nutz and wrote my congressman,,told my mom and im like 40?????told my grandad?? i just went and told right on everyone even tho no one likes a tattletale,,so
relax,,dont go there again and use the brain i can tell you have:)
i think you may be over reacting a teensy bit, just go say to your parents that you accidently clicked on it and im sure they’ll be ok and put some filters on your computer so you dont have to see that sort of thing popping up again. other than that chill out kid.
Even with a parental blocker on, pornographic content will still make it’s way to you. The Internet’s content is a large percent *Adult* so avioding this kind of thing is almost inpossible.
If you don’t like it - quit the internet.
