I need help trying to find resources to get out of a major financial situation that my family and I are in.

I had to move for my job a year ago and haven’t been able to sell my home so now I have double the house payments and in the middle of a renovation in the home we own with the advice of my realtor my husband lost his job. So now I’m two hours away from the house and it needs about $5,000 worth of work. So while all this is going on I’m just further and further digging myself into debt so this year it’s gonna be tough for christmas for my three kids. So if anyone has any resources to find help for this kind of thing please let me know. I filed bankruptcy almost two years ago and my credit is shot so the loan thing is a no. Thanks for reading.

Try getting presents from second hand stores and sign up for Christmas baskets. You and your husband should go to your local command labor and get some temp work. Its a fact that both of you are going to have to work to pay your bills. No one is going to be sending any money so its up to you to get this done. Hope this helps :-)

Obviously work is what is necessary. I do work 60+hrs a week but that doesn’t help when it’s salary. Three kids in daycare is not affordable for my spouse to work, he wasn’t even making enough to cover daycare entirely. Over $400 a week just for daycare so why work to pay someone else to raise your kids. No one is looking for someone to send money just resources and ideas. thanks
