I downloaded Quantum of space, consequently my VLC media player 0.8.6 (wxWidgets Interface) doesn’t play the movie.

It says “Your media player can’t play the complete file. The player might not support the file or might not support the codec that was used to compress the file. Please visit http://torrentmovie.help.com to see the complete movie.

If you mean the new James Bond movie, Quantum of Silence, that movie hasn’t been released and therefore is piracy. As we at help.com do not endorse felony, we cannot help you.
