i have an interview for a job tomorrow and i’m not sure about going.

i really need a better paying job, but i’m scared of the interview. although the job would be way worse than the interview. it’s for a correctional officer position. i’m pretty sure i could handle the job. the reason i’m scared of the interview is because of my crappy military record. it was not criminal, but its definitely not something i want to explain as its **** embarrassing. opinions. please!

You are pretty sure you could handle the job, that is a good thing! And you said the job would be way worse than the interview. Then, if you can handle the job, you can easily handle the interview!

Anyway, think about it. What do you have to loose? If you succeed in the interview, you get a better paying job. If you don’t, you stay at the same level you are now. You have nothing to loose!

it feels like nothing to lose, but it’s just not easy admitting that i didn’t live up to my commitment with the army. it’s a panel interview and these are the type people that make a very big deal out of anything wrong you have ever done in your life. it would probably be easier for a person with a small misdemeanor offense to get this job than with my army record but i could be wrong

the coin i flipped three times says i should go to.. :(

Go, do your best, if you get it good if you don’t, try again. If you think you can do the job then go to the interview
