Start->Control Panel -> Add/remove programs -> Sims 2 deluxe

i need help too.
i played the game normally yesterday and then today when i tried to play it,
it said i already had the sims 2 installed and if i wanted to play the deluxe version
i had to uninstall the sims 2.
but i can’t find a way to uninstall anything, since i don’t just have the sims 2,
i have the sims 2 deluxe.
i am so confused.
help. please.
