Long distance relationships seldom work out, and lead to a lot of frustration and heartbreak, sad to say but very true. Sometimes they can work out, but they need a lot of dedication and trust. Finances will play a huge part to, if you can afford the air fare to jet back and forth well great, but many cant these days. Sorry to be a barer of bad tidings, but just being honest :-)

Be careful here. It can get extremely tricky and extremely tough. Like Sasha said, you need to have a lot of dedication trust, and a whole lot of bearing down and grinding your teeth. It’s a lot of work.

However, your question here was saying that you need to see her, does she feel the same way about you? Would she come to you, or you to her? If either of those scenarios are an option…I’d start saving. Travel is extremely expensive, especially these days. Make sure you know what you’re getting yourself into, too.

In most cases, you shouldn’t need a Visa just to travel or visit. May I ask what country you’re in and which she’s in?

Ah, well you shouldn’t actually need a Visa unless you are planning to work/study there and/or be there for more than 3 months. I’m heading to the US myself in a few months and I don’t need a Visa. However, coming from Jordan might be different. Have you spoken with a travel agent?

Ah, then that might be why you’re having to apply for a Visa to get back. Unfortunately, I’m not sure what advice to give you in that situation. Perhaps if you talk to a lawyer to try and establish Visa rights, and to see if there is a way you can negotiate another entry?

U.S security is tough, I’m afraid. It’s not as easy to get into the country as it used to be. So you may come across a lot of issues. But if you go through the right process you might be able to find some solution.
