Any universities that will accept me with one D?

I have all ready been accepted to CSU Monterey Bay, but i got a D in the final quarter of biology, so i don’t think i will be accepted there now, But i really want to go away for college, and stay at a dorm and such, Is there any Universities that will accept me with a D. Preferably in California but im open to out of state ones. I’m a B average student, and i could write a killer essay

it says here i need a C or better

“Have completed with grades of C or better each of the courses in the comprehensive pattern of college preparatory subject requirements ”

I don’t think they’ll worry about the D. It’s an isolated incident, and it’s your senior year.

I got a D in Calculus in my Senior Year, and I’m almost positive I had 1 or 2 more Ds throughout my other HS years, and I still got into schools.

I got into Norwich University (in VT), North Georgia University, and Hofstra University (NY). I attended Hofstra for a year, and would have continued to do so if I had the money. THey were the only schools I applied for, and I got accepted into all 3.

C in what? It probably just means maintaining a c average or better.

I have been accepted to Western Washington University, and i was wondering if i have a D or F in one class if i would still be accepted? i have a 4.0 gpa, but this class will really take down my gpa since it counts as three classes….
its a computer science class, and i am hopefully majoring in Psycology…

In california you can’t go to a state or UC university with anything lower than a c in a class.
There are ways of making them up the classes you bomed though.
Either retake it in your school, summer school, night school, or taking it at the local community college. You can take about as many as 2 classes and the class fees are waved if you are a high school student.

Since it’s a different state I would look at the universities website for requirements.

i suppose those poor grades were due to a lack of spell checking — upward trend, and im not bothering to correct the other errors
