school help: ANATOMY HELP PLEASE! - Help.com

ANATOMY HELP PLEASE!

!! I am a pre-nursing student and am having the hardest time in my Anatomy class. I know its partly because I was very sick at the beginning of the semester and am really far behind but if I dont ace the next 2 tests and the final I will flunk out of school I think. Can anyone recommend studying tactics or resources that I can use? All my professor gives us are notes in class and if we dont copy them in time there is no way for us to get them unless we can copy them from someone else. PLEASE HELP!

volunteer at the local mortuary or in a morgue…

work on bodies, get to really know anatomy…

that’s got to count for something?

Make sure you get the notes!!! Ask someone in the class if you can photocopy theirs. Study the notes. Memorize them. That is what the tests/exams will be on.

Anatomy is all about physically working systems and function. Learn how and why various parts are connected and it becomes like a good book that you can’t put down. Use gimmicks or songs like “The headbones connected to the… except use the proper terminology. Don’t over study… If you try to memorize 16 items you will only remember the first four and the last four. That’s why line dancers can never remember the middle of the dance until the second or third week. Twenty minutes a day is better than an hour every other day. Good luck!!

Try going on youtube or searching for online lecture videos from Universities, as they are very helpful and detailed. You may come across a professor that explains thing a whole lot better than your current one. Good luck with your class.
