Head help: I have been having random ‘dizzy’ spells latley. - Help.com

I have been having random ‘dizzy’ spells latley.

They started on Friday (today is Tuesday) and have not lightened up for the most part.

During the spells I experiance:
a ‘dizzy buzz’ in my chest, teeth, neck, and back
vertigo
/heavy/ headedness (notice i did not say ‘light’)

They have become less severe, but more frequent, infact, almost constant. My teeth tingle and buzz almost constantly and almost every time I turn my head I become dizzy and experiance some degree of vertigo. Also, it tends to happen when I am startled. Someone will make a quick movement that I don’t expect and my chest…well im not sure how to describe it…the sound equivalent would be ‘buh’ but it doesn’t actually make noise, and I get rather dizzy…
I’m rather confused and I’m afraid it’s a serious problem, but I don’t want to go to the doctor if it isn’t necessary. Could anyone give me some insight on this?

There are many causes of dizziness.

It would be a good idea to talk to a doctor.

My grandmother and sister both suffer from pretty severe vertigo. Neither is life threatening but it really causes your quality of life to go down. It may be caused by inner ear problems. In any case you should definitely go see your doctor.

That happens to me too, it could just be low blood sugar, try drinking some orange or apple juice before you panick. It’s a weird thing, but I’ve noticed my hands get really cold (that’s strange for me) and sweaty when it happens, does that happen to you? That could just be me, though.
