I have a choice to leave my family for one that thinks I’m amazing and am a good kid as opposed to my current one that thinks I’m a screw up failure.

If I choose to go with the other family, am I wrong? or is it the right choice? Am I just a whiner? Or is the choice just? I really need some help…

It isn’t a step family it’s my girlfriend’s family, and it would make me much happier with them, but wouldn’t that be selfish? And I’ve known them for nearly 2 years so I don’t know if they’ll change their opinion of me.

There’s a good chance they would. Don’t risk wrecking things with them or with your girl. Just tough it out at home until you can move out.
