I would like to find satisfaction in a JOB that helps people but can easily support a family of five.

I have done many things in my life. I am about to leave the military after 8 years as well.

I have many skills but the thing that is most important to me right now is being able to help others and really connect with people and help them as well as myself to have a fulfilling life.

I don’t know where to begin really. I don’t know my options. I am 33 years old with a family and looking to restart my life with something more suited to the above.

Anything middle class is fine, i just want something personally rewarding in terms of helping myself and others.

You don’t say where in the world you are, but I know several ex-military who have felt much the same and have been successful in the Police Force. One in particular is working as a liaison officer helping young people to overcome drug and gang-related problems. He has never been happier in his work ! It’s something you might like to look into.

I am going to be going back to the east coast area in a few months or so hopefully. i don’t want to do police work for sure though. i am doing intel at the moment and hold a good clearance with lots of training. i don’t know what to get into but i want something satisfying for once in my life.

Have you any interest in the field of health care? There seems to be a great variety of careers associated with that field. With your military backgound, maybe a hospital like Bethesda would be interested in you. Just an idea. Doesn’t the military help you plan for your future employment?
