Apparently, Prop 8 passed…

Prop 8

“Proposition 8 would repeal a state court decision that allowed for same sex marriage. A yes vote would ban gay marriage. So far with 59 percent of the precincts reporting the measure is passing with 53 percent YES and 47 percent NO.”

Seems like there needs to be a Prop 9.

T’is a strange world that is so full of hate for fellow man that they will deny some the chance of happiness.

I live in UK where things are slightly different but much the same negativity was the status quo for a long long time. All I can say is that since the laws have changed, I haven’t noticed anything but a whole lot more happiness and love going around! I can’t find a single example of how any “bad” has come of it…

I thought this amendment wasn’t just about same sex marriage. I thought it was about “partnerships” (between heterosexual OR homosexual persons) having the same rights that married people do.

You weren’t paying any attention then, the proposition defined marriage as between a man and a woman.

Incorrect, I am talking about proposition 8, not Florida Amendment 2.

Thank you! :-)

I can’t convince people like this to change their views, yet it is really sad they are out there spreading such intolerance. :-(

Thanks for reading.
