Are you confusing him with Spielberg?

Michael Crichton made a huge impact with his amazing writing, movies, television shows, and general presence in the lives of so many people. Maybe some don’t realize that his presence touched them in some way, but he was pervasive and will continue to be.

I wouldn’t be surprised if a whole ton of people really care that he lost his battle with cancer… he will be missed.

i never heard of him by name, but reading about him now i know a lot of his work. Ive always just known him as “that guy that wrote the original jurassic park book.” he wrote several books that inflenced our culture, and he seemed to be a very intelligent man. i heard a part of his “Aliens cause global warming” lecture once, not alot, but enough to get the general message. sadness.

Fahrenheit 451 is one of my all time favorite books. Man, I can’t believe he’s dead. It seems like only yesterday we were studying this book in school. How sad.
