So sorry. It’s just as bad as losing a human. Your cat sounds mas macho. I had a cat who protected me from racoons. Even though he was a small cat, he was ferocious. I loved him so much. He died a couple years ago and I still miss him. I hate death!

Its like losing a member of your family really. I’m so sorry. I lost my Weirmaraner a couple of years ago. Have had lots of dogs but she was there for me when my marriage broke up and she was incredibly special. Don’t think I would have gotten out of bed in the morning if she hadn’t forced me to get up and take her out for a walk. I still miss her desperately. Animals are such wonderful companions
