My two friends and I have started a theatre company.

We put on plays written by women. The plays are directed by women but not necessarily about women. We want to get organized but don’t know where to begin. Should we become a non-profit company or an LLC? We have done eight plays and rented theatre space and got very good attendance but we want to go a step higher. Does anybody know of any successful FOR profit theater companies?
