Only drive when you’re drunk… that way you can blame it on the alcohol

I can drive a stick, but I haven’t in a while. Right now I live so close to work I usually just do the bike or skateboard thing.

I’ve driven an automatic once in my life. Didn’t really enjoy it. Here we have like 1 automatic to every 20 or more manual. Our country is mostly mountains, so we enjoy having full control over gears. Unless you buy an expensive new BMW, automatic gears aren’t good for anything here.

My home country is the Faroe Islands. It’s a small island group in the Atlantic. It’s between Iceland and Norway. Population is around 46000, so it’s really small. We have our own language “Faroese”, which is kinda a mixture between Icelandic and Norwegian. We’re under the Danish crown, but have our own government. Our main production is fish which counts for almost 95% of our exports.

That’s where I call home.

I was thinking about getting a tank. I find it sometimes is a hassle finding a parking spot. With a tank, I could just park across 2-3 other vehicles. Wouldn’t that be great?

Gas isn’t all that cheap and I’m sure a tank eats it up pretty quick! So are u still on this paradise island?

I’m not an insomniac. I do however dislike sleeping to a point that I only sleep around 4 nights a week.

The gas price here is around 9.50 kr pr liter… guess that’s around 1.50 dollars. Diesel is around 5 kr which is less than a dollar.

We do however drive fuel economic cars, so we really don’t use that much.

I don’t really care. I don’t drive that much anymore. Don’t really have anywhere to go. When I’m working I drive to and from work. On the weekends I’m usually drunk, and have others drive for me, so… yeah… Also, I’m driving a small Toyota that makes like 16 km to the liter, so it isn’t that bad.
