Love help: Hi, I’m twenty. - Help.com

Hi, I’m twenty.

I know exactly what I want to do with my life: Run a farm and train horses.

I used to attend a little university that had my major (horses/equine industry) but transferred to a “party school” in a town I love and I have more fun.

Do I stay at the party school, and continue to have the supposed best years of my life, or move back to the middle of no where and pursue my passion??

I’ve gone back and forth on this SO much, please tell me if you’ve personally made a similar choice (choosing between your dreams/passion and something else you love) or if you have ANY advice. Thanks.

Weel school is a few years and doing what you love lasts a lifetime. Besides, are these really the best years of your life? You don’t want to have all your fun and peak is college, do you?

Creating a successful career doing what you love will allow you to have a whole lot more fun in later life.

I’m being faced with a similar problem: Get a sure degree in Network Security, or pursue my passion of music. I would say go for your passion. Not doing so may cost you a lifetime of happiness.

Thank you all for the replies.
The career I want to pursue will not make me rich, I will probably make enough to live comfortably and keep my own horse, but I think that would give me much greater satisfaction than sitting behind a desk every week.
