life help: I am a mother of 4. - Help.com

I am a mother of 4.

My kids are ages 6 to 13. We have no money at all this christmas to buy anything for them. I work full time plus overtime, my husband works full time on salary. Just in the past month our furnace broke and needed replaced and we had to replace siding, since squirrels were living in our chimney it was so rotten! After these major expenses there is nothing left for christmas. Does anyone know of any charitable organizations for people not on welfare?

They will understand I think. I will do that tonight. It is hard going back to school after christmas and hearing all the big items other kids get. I am in South Dakota.

It’s a good time to teach them about priority. And let them know about current and utility, too. hahaha Economy is a reality, children should know about.
Iheard a boy saying that he grew up, beliving he and his mother were rich. He was 18 or 19, when he finaly had to admmit been not.
