I am a full time student and I work part time with 2 small children.

I “bought” a house and have a mortage payment and I have NO money to pay any bills! I constantly feel like running away or killing my self but i know I can’t do that cause I love my kids and there would be no one there for them but I’m on the brink of losing everything I worked so hard for because I decided to go to school for nursing and thought I could financially do it but I can’t…I cry everyday and feel like pulling out my hair! I don’t know what to do anymore!!!!! Please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Go to student services they can help with not only advice but and possibly a hardship loan or grant. Don’t bury ur head in the sand there is people out there that can help. Trust me yes its hard at the minute but all u got to do is keep going minute by minute day by day. esp for the little 1s

Emily’s suggestion is a good one.

Another thought, particularly if you go to a university of any size and substance, is to present yourself at the financial aid office and tell them what you are up against. They are usually willing and very often able to increase your financial aid based on documented need. Yes, there are standard forms you have to fill out, and you undoubtedly did that, but there are also sentient, sensible people in the financial aid offices who will listen sympathetically to your narrative and do their best to help.

This one is a long shot, but a third possibility is that you and your kids could stay with relatives (say, your parents) and rent out the house to cover the mortgage until you graduate and go to work full-time.

Another long shot, but do you think that as an “older” student you might qualify for free residential-assistance housing in a dorm, so that you and your kids could live there while renting out your home?

i suggest taking a trip down to your local job centre plus, as they can give you child benifits and they can also give you more advice on what to do, and if you think about commiting suicide, just think what your children will have to go through and remember its not just about you.
also why dont you sell your house, move in with a friend with a spare room just pay him/her rent. then finish your course then get your life sorted out

Try to think in those things you did, not only in those you have to. Cause it feels good when you look at the kids’s face and the smile to you, that’s some of your well done. Do not focus to much in the bills, count all those payments you did already, so u’ll get over, again. So think in what “EMILY RI” says, and try it up. But don’t feel down; pick up your face to see the posible choices you still have. Good luck.
