I woke up this morning with lower back pain

I didnt do anything to hurt it and Im fine standing up and walking around, it only hurts when I bend or sit. Did I just strain some muscles or should I be worried? Ive tried taking Ibuprofen (I may have spelled it wrong) but its not helping much. Whats the best way to handle this? Thanks!

Buy memory foam mattress. That’s excellent!

Also, ice your back. Takes down the swelling which is causing the pain.

Could be kidneys, pain comes in the lower back with kidney infections too.If it is muscle, then heatpad and Ibuprofen.

Sounds like the lower lumbar. Take 2 motrin, if nothing than take 2 more.

Take a hot shower—
It could be you did something and didn’t know it.
It could be that you slept funny.
It could be that you aren’t getting the type of support you need from your bed.
If it isn’t a pillow top try flipping the mattress. You could also try memory foam. You could also try foam between the box spring and mattress, if your mattress is sagging.
If your lower back and hip are bothering you, you could try sleeping with a pillow between your knees (if you sleep on your side).

You could also try doing stretches.
If you exerted a lot of energy yesterday, it could be that you need more potassium and fluids, you could be dehydrated.
If your lower back is bothering you it could be that you need to work on your core (tummy muscles).

Are you male or female? It could be your shoes…

If all else fails—go see a doctor.
