i slit my wrist the other night…

and i haven’t seen a doctor yet , im very scard and it’s juss left as a open wound , and it’s deep….will it heal on it’s own if i take care of it the right way??

Infection can take place in a hurry. It would be wise to go and get your wound cleaned and stitched up if need be.

Alot of pathogens that enter the blood stream are caused by cuts, and even abrasions to the skin.

This may be a good opportunity for you to seek some information and perhaps find some outside therapy as to why you feel perhaps suicidal or feel the need to cut and harm yourself. You can discuss this privately with your doctor.

u should go to the doctors. if ur worried about being locked up u wont be. u have 2 options here. u can either lie and say u did it on some broken glass while u were washing up, or tell him the truth…. u wont get locked up for it but will start reciving professional help with ur problems

u need to get help NOW go see a doctor and tell ur parents y u feel like that and y u did it. chances are ur wrists are now becoming infected so clean them and call ur doctor
