i cant manage to move on.

iv always been an overachiever, never failing anything, always getting what i want.
til one day, i lost a very publicized school election; i was running unopposed. after the loss, i havent been able to get back my groove. im a mess, and cant let go of the failure. its affecting me so much right now, weighing me down. iv closed myself from others, hiding in my shell. i know it should be easy, but i cant stop putting myself down for the loss.

how the hell did you lose an unopposed election? did you drop out?

Seriously though, thats just sad. to let one loss bring you down after a lifetime of success. Sounds like you got too used to winning and it made you weak. Thats life, you’re just going to have to learn to deal with it, get back into your grove, and succede some more. But eventually you will lose again. Its inevitable, you cant be perfect at everything.
